All the electronics of the leading luxury sedans are part and parcel of Town & Country LXi. Unique Personalized Remote Entry System enables two drivers to pre-program settings for their personal power seat and power mirror positions for instant recall. Operation is as simple as individual remote keyless entry transmitters. AM Stereo/FM Sterio Cassette and CD Player(shown above - top left), standard on LXi, features convenient access to control of all functions---for listening enjoyment without having to memorize confusing computer-like operating sequences.

Town & Country

Analog Instrumentation provides information that is clearly readable at a glance. The windshield, larger than ever, and with great panoramic viewing, is equiped with wiper blade de-icers, to make winter driving less demanding. New solar control and sunscreen glass is available to reduce radiation damage to upholstery and items left in the car. Switch Actuation was researched extensively, for shape -- rotary knob, button, or slider -- precision of operation, and placement. Exclusive power rear quarter vent windows, for example, are actuated from the driver's door multicontrol cluster. Dual Zone Temperature Control, exclusive to the category, enables front seaters to dial up individual preferences, side-to-side. Meanwhile front/rear heat and air outlets assure personalized comfort at all seats, with fan speed adjustable from either end of the vehicle. And talk about "power". This air conditioning system has the capacity to cool a 1,500 square foot home. Ratcheting Adjustable Cup Holders may seem like obsessive over-design... except when you can't put your cup down anywhere. That's why we designed the front seat area cup holders to be as useful as the rest of Town & Country -- and, so far as we know, it accommodates all fast-food drink containers. Six packs of soft drinks can be stowed away in any of three convenient, tracked sliding drawers throughout the interior.
